You sure know your stuff when it comes to RHINO, i watch the video thats amazing!!!! so if i understand right, i need to buy a add on or plugin  for RHINO that allows me, to do the tracing of a scan mesh?
I do not know what   "create surfaces with the network "  is ?

well, not necessarily. most of the plug-ins are little helpers that facilitate what you already can do very well with Rhino. so in your case no, you don't NEED to buy anything. if you do it will be for making your life easier but before getting there (paying for a software you don't have a clue about) you need to understand how rhino works so that you don't buy what you don't need...
anyway, today I have to pack my stuff for I'm going for a trip tonight and I will be back online in 4 days time in a different country (hopefully, if no one robs me or I don't decide to get lost on the way) but when I get back I plan making a tut on networking (the one I should have done almost a year ago) and I'll use your plane model for this (btw can you upload your 70 mb model on rapidshare or smt so I can use the entire plane and not just a part of it?). in the mean time I suggest you work on surfaces, ie take an object and try to model it from scratch it helps a lot for understanding how to use rhino. this thing you are trying to make is somewhat complicated and without understanding the basics it won't be easy at all building a II. ww crashed plane:P
