Title: modeling a horse with cross section curves Post by: george on May 30, 2008, 01:51:53 AM I have drawn a few longitudinal sections and now need to create surfaces for a rocking horse.
I need a little pointer in the right direction. I was thinking to tackle the legs seperatly, then the body and head. What would you do from here on, create perpendicular cross sections then loft? Title: Re: modeling a horse with cross section curves Post by: Ivan Vuzem on May 30, 2008, 01:09:51 PM well, since you started it this way, it is obvious that you will try the loft. Does it turn out ok?
I would first try to loft all longitudinal curves, and if that doesn't work, then I would try making things into parts... Title: Re: modeling a horse with cross section curves Post by: Will J on May 30, 2008, 03:21:54 PM T-splines can do subdivision modelling right? You'd have a FAR easier time doing it that way. But if you really have to have it in NURBS, then Ivan is right :).
