Rendering / Re: help help help

There is any change you reaply the materials ? I think is better redo than spending much time figuring out the solution.

You can render the scene using V-ray with cartoon material aplied, that will give you the edge lines. The opacity is just render a white render and in photoshop merge the 2 layers of image, one with the lines, other with the pieces. If you want some pieces over another pieces is just render piece by piece and back to photoshop and do the trick layers, masks ....

Sorry my bad english, hope helped.

First i'm having some trouble with the "manual fillet" on the back side of the car. I wondering if someone could figure out it ? When i try to do the surface is just not perfect, there is a little curvature and in the top part is no curve at all, looks really bad =/
I'm going on, later i will back to the trunk

Some update :

Hope you like it.

Well, i love cars ( who dont?) and i was tired of all this product modelling with low difficult i always did. Now i start to modelling a car!!! Its a really challenge.

The car i pick is the mew camaro because its not too hard. Looks pretty nice and not lot of organic curves to do.

hope you guys like and comment ( looks like the forum is empty ... =/ )

WIP / Motorola droid modelling and texturing
« on: March 30, 2011, 01:05:15 PM »
Hi everybody,

i'm modelling a smartphone. the model in question is the motorola droid or milestone (the name here in brazil).

The modelling part its lot o fun and kind easy i must to say. I'm not modelling with real mesaures and its only to render, so... the trick part here is the textures.

I'm having some trouble. I want to use some parts as textures, like camera, motorola logo (only modeling a filleted cylinder and apply textures to the logo) and power. I will post the things i can't get it done and maybe someone can help me. I'm new in the texturing in rhino. I always aply textures by vray, but now i want to export the model texturized to octane render.

i attach the textures and a .obj model to you try too. If someone get how to do this, please let me know and teach me!!!

thanks

Ops... my mystake, its 40mm or 4cm. My bad! :-\

Its really small anyway... sometime i model and after need to go back and change lot because there is no space for detail or will be impossible to "print" it

Yeah, there is a lot to fix yet. I thinking to add some "random" objects to the table... maybe when a do it will be really easy to see the sizes. The bigger weapon is 4mm.
