Projecting curve along surface

In this t-splines tutorial:

At 39:04, the guy mentions using the  "project curve on surface" to create curves to flow along the surface, however no such command exists, nor do I know how he did that. Then I noticed this is the rhino 5 beta, so is this a new command that's not available yet? Or did he just name the command differently than what it really is?
